Venini: high-end glass pieces

It was founded in 1921 by the Milanese designer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antiquarian Giacoppo Cappellin, Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin & Venini, it would unite the best of Italian glass design of those years: entrepreneurship and traditional Muranese techniques were united, which would give a new concept and glass design.

Paolo Venini would seek out and associate with the great designers, architects and artists of the 20th century, both Italian and foreign. One of the most noteworthy would be Vittorio Zecchin, who created, among others, the Veronese Glass, inspired by the artist’s paintings of the Venetian from the Settecento and which we have in our flagship store in Madrid.

Venini has behind him several prestigious design awards such as Compasso d’oro at the Milan Triennale, the Monza Fair, the gold medal at the Venezia Biennale itself, and also international awards, such as the Paris Autumn Salon, among others.
