Arturo Álvarez: specialists in artistic designer lighting

Arturo Álvarez is a conceptual creator from the world of designer lighting. He has his own and recognizable style, with a strong personality, bringing a new vision of creative lighting in spaces, surprising lighting sets and scenography.

Starting in the 1990s, he became interested in flat glass and learned the techniques of vitreaux and tiffany for making lamps. He started out creating lights, using ancient techniques, and over the years, he has progressed and identified himself with the concepts of Bauhaus, combining and revising shapes, volumes, perspectives and plans with artisanal and precise work.

The company’s philosophy has been, and still is, to offer lamps with great personality, a strong emotional component and handmade, while taking care of their finishes and treating them as unique and exclusive pieces.

Arturo Álvarez is currently developing new forms of expression, with light as the guiding principle and the human being and his relationships as the protagonist, together with his lights and shadows, common and uncommon ground, topics that concern him and deepen from different techniques. Furthermore, over the last few years he has been developing his own materials and has managed to create and patent SIMETECH® – a translucent material that can be molded and enables different textures to be achieved.
