AGi Architects selects GUNNI&TRENTINO as the exclusive supplier of office furniture for the PROINTEL project.
AGi Architects has selected GUNNI&TRENTINO as the exclusive supplier of office furniture, lighting, bathroom and sanitary fixtures, and flooring and cladding materials for its PROINTEL office project in Madrid.
The renovation and refurbishment project for the offices of Prointel, the first independent television production company created in Spain in 1970 by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, has been a creative exercise in renovation and corporate identity by the prestigious international architecture and interior design studio AGi Architects. < www.agi-architects.com >
GUNNI&TRENTINO participated in the project as the sole supplier of all the products needed for the interior design. It was an exciting project that met the client's objectives, creating a space that exudes light, modernity, dynamism, and color. Perfect for a company dedicated to creativity.
This project builds on GUNNI&TRENTINO's growing experience in the office sector, as a supplier of furniture, lighting, and materials, with the capacity to provide 100% of the products required for interior design projects.
Located in Madrid, in a residential area north of the capital, PROINTEL's headquarters have been adapted to the client's current needs and professional activity, while fully respecting the original spirit of the company founded by the legendary Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, which lives on in the project developed by AGi Architects.
The architectural team faced a complex initial challenge: opening the offices to a courtyard to maximize natural light and daily use. They decided to emphasize the importance of the courtyard by maintaining the horizontal continuity of the exterior paving and fully opening the exterior walls vertically.
The production company's main workspace is characterized by a large, open space that accommodates different disciplines. On one side, a teamwork wing with grouped tables and a wall lined with custom shelving. In the background, the technical recording rooms, where dubbing and video post-production are carried out, are located. Conceptually, the project's driving force is to bring nature into the interior from the courtyard and entrance. Access is from the upper floor, located at street level, where the main entrance and reception are located. From there, one accesses the central staircase, clad in wood, which blends with the patio's ceramic tiles and colonizes the work areas. Both the air conditioning and lighting systems were designed with energy-saving requirements in mind and a scene programming for the various workspace configurations.
