Knoll and its new collection
KNOLL SURPRISES US WITH NEW SOFAS DESIGNED BY BARBER & OSGERBY
Knoll presents bold architectural lines softened by the rounded edges of the cushions and the visible stitching. The collection comprises several models: the "Two Seater," a compact two-seater sofa; the "Asymmetric Sofa," which combines two modules of unequal lengths; and the compact three-seater sofa. You can choose the upholstery from the brand's extensive collection of textiles, such as Hourglass, Mocha, and Indigo, in shades of rust, petrol blue, beige, or tan. You can also choose the finish of the metal frame of the brand's new sofa: chrome, red lacquer, or black lacquer. The choice of textiles from this brand and finishes for this new model can completely transform the sofa's appearance.
Founded in 1938, Knoll is a global manufacturer of office furniture dedicated to design excellence. The origins of this renowned US furniture manufacturer and distributor lie in the Hans G. Knoll Furniture Company, established in 1938. Responsible for shaping the image of corporate interiors in post-World War II America, a successful career is spearheaded by the eminent figure of Florence Knoll. In the second half of the 20th century, the company produced many "classic" designs from the 1920s and 1930s created by Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer, among many other geniuses of contemporary and modern furniture design. Knoll pieces are highly recognizable and offer a quality that transcends mere excellence; many are museum-quality pieces that lend any space a touch of understated sophistication. In our office projects, this brand's work furniture is very popular for executive areas, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.
