Pietro Russo
Pietro Russo is an Italian designer trained in painting, ceramics, and scenography, whose career fuses art, scenography, and interior architecture. After studying at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, he began working in Berlin on set and interior design projects, consolidating his sensitivity for the theatrical and narrative aspects of design. In 2001, he moved to Milan, where he collaborated for years with Lissoni Associati on product and interior design for renowned brands such as Alessi, Kartell, Cappelini, and Tecno.
In 2010, Pietro Russo founded his own studio, pursuing a personal approach that combines scenographic research, interior design, and artisanal restoration. His work focuses on creating unique objects that engage with the identity of the place and celebrate Italian artisanal tradition through a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic. Each piece is born from a deep observation of the environment and the artisanal process, such as the "Sciantilla" lamp, part of the Dante collection, exemplifying his poetic and material approach.
