A haven of contemporary calm in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains.
La Trapa is a single-family home located in one of the most unique corners of Mallorca, where the protected landscape of the Tramuntana Mountains acts as a natural setting. The project is based on an architecture with a strong geometric identity designed by Joan Miquel Seguí, which interacts with the surroundings through pure lines, noble materials, and a visual integration with the rocky surroundings and the forest.
The interior is structured around open spaces bathed in natural light, where the kitchen, dining room, and living room share a serene, fluid, and functional atmosphere. The formal sobriety, combined with the selection of Terraza Balear furniture, defines a contemporary, uncluttered style, designed for everyday enjoyment in balance with the surroundings.
An architecture that extends into the landscape.
Outside, the home offers a sensory experience in constant connection with the landscape. The furniture adapts naturally to the surroundings: outdoor pieces that combine comfort, elegance, and durability, blending with the textures of the vegetation and stone. Every corner is designed to encourage rest, contemplation, and enjoyment of the natural surroundings.
The design of La Trapa responds to a clear vision: to create a living space that exudes authenticity, sustainability, and harmony. The choice of neutral tones, natural finishes, and simple compositions reinforce this intention to blend with the landscape. The result is a home that conveys stability, calm, and a quiet sophistication, true to the Mediterranean spirit.
The project was developed by architect Joan Miquel Seguí, with interior design by Terraza Balear (Gunni & Trentino Mallorca).
