As we often say, at Gunni & Trentino we like to follow trends. That's why our team of experts presents a new designer kitchen with a rounded island , which can now be seen in our luxury furniture and design showroom in Madrid .
Gunni & Trentino 's designer kitchens are a paradigm of functionality and quality , perfect for modern kitchen projects that adapt to any space. The new kitchen features a lacquered front and a slatted wood island.
This kitchen has two very distinct areas: one with columns and water, and the other with a cooking and bar area on an island . Each area is designed with different finishes, front styles, and opening systems to accentuate the difference. In the column and water area, a perimeter frame front was chosen, finished in super matte textured lacquer, a new finish developed by Gunni & Trentino , which has a very special color and feel.
The island , with its curved sides, has an organic, user-friendly shape that facilitates kitchen flow. The fronts are a true work of cabinetmaking, with solid black-stained oak veneers . The opening system consists of a black lacquered bar or groove that runs around the entire perimeter of the island , including the curved sides.
The interior of the unit is made of a very durable and easy-to-clean wood- effect laminate, equipped withcutlery trays , silverware holders , and evenpower outlets , making work much easier. The countertop is made of Lapitec Electra sintered stone with a rounded edge, which reflects the project's philosophy of organic shapes and that of the Gunni & Trentino kitchen brand itself, as it boasts great quality, functionality, durability, and beauty. This material is characterized by its great resistance and the continuity of the grain along the edges. But the special feature is the new invisible induction hob, which guarantees discretion and elegance and is integrated into the countertop itself: Lapitec Chef. Its beauty makes it perfect for large loft-style spaces.
The Siemens extractor hood, available at any of our luxury kitchen stores, is also integrated into the countertop, with a telescopic system that extends from the countertop when in use and retracts when not cooking. The removal of the traditional hood allows for the installation of lighting on the island , fully integrating the kitchen into a space open to the living or dining room .
The tall cabinets , meanwhile, offer greater transparency thanks to their wavy glass with a matte black frame, giving them a more elegant look with straight lines and light inside, bringing more calm to the workspace. The color is ocean blue.
