Bruno Rainaldi
Bruno Rainaldi (1952–2011), a Milanese architect and designer, was a key figure in contemporary Italian design, known for his eclectic approach and keen artistic sensibility. Over the course of more than two decades, he collaborated with numerous firms, where he made his mark as a creative director and curator of highly expressive collections. In 2004, his celebrated Ptolomeo bookcase was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro, cementing his position as an innovator in furniture design.
His work is characterized by challenging convention, opting for functional pieces with a bold aesthetic. His shelving, in particular, transforms the concept of storage into a visual statement, integrating naturally and sophisticatedly into the spaces of the home.
