Carlo Colombo
Carlo Colombo, born in 1967 in Carimate, Italy, is one of the most influential architects and designers of his generation. He graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, where he attended the classes of Achille Castiglioni, and soon caught the attention of the design industry with his Kyoto bed, presented by Cappellini at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1992. Since then, he has developed a distinguished career collaborating with brands such as Giorgetti, Flexform, Flou, Poliform, Gallotti&Radice, and Antonio Lupi Design, creating elegant pieces that precisely combine function and form.
His design approach ranges from product design to architecture and interior design, characterized by a contemporary and refined aesthetic. He has received prestigious international awards such as the Red Dot Award, the IF Design Award, and the Elle Deco International Design Award. He is also the co-founder of the A++ studio, with offices in several cities around the world, where he leads large-scale projects that promote sustainability and Italian design globally.
