Chiaramonte Marin
Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin shape a creative universe in which industrial design dialogues with the poetry of light and the functionality of furniture. They founded ChiaramonteMarin Design Studio in 1989, a think tank encompassing graphic, product, interior, and lighting design. With a keen eye for contemporary design, they have created iconic pieces such as the Marcel and Snooze outdoor collections for Emu, or the sculptural Knot lamps for Brokis, which redefine glass craftsmanship with a sophisticated and experimental aesthetic.
With a background in architecture (Chiaramonte) and visual arts (Marin), his approach is informed by a creative hybridization where each project is the result of a fertile intersection of disciplines. His design is born from a balance of technique, emotion, and a deep understanding of the object as a functional and aesthetic entity. His work, distributed internationally, represents a vision of Italian design that is innovative, sensitive, and open to constant transformation.
