Christophe Pillet

Christophe Pillet, born in Montargis in 1959, is an internationally renowned French designer whose career spans architecture, interiors, set design, and furniture, as well as product design. After training at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art in Nice and earning a master's degree from the Domus Academy in Milan, he worked with key design figures such as Martine Bedin, Michele De Lucchi, and Philippe Starck before opening his own studio in Paris in 1994. His approach is characterized by elegant restraint, meticulous attention to craftsmanship, and a refined stylistic sensibility.

Pillet has collaborated with leading brands such as Cappellini, Flexform, Driade, Oluce, Kartell, Emu, and Lema, developing iconic pieces such as the Echoes SH chair, the Niwa and Plume lamps, and the Shibuya vases. His work has been recognized with major international awards such as the Red Dot Design Award, the Wallpaper Design Award, and the German Design Award. His affinity with the world of fashion and his versatility have cemented his reputation as one of the leading figures in contemporary design.
