Dechem Studio

Founded in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Jandourek, DECHEM Studio represents a unique fusion of bohemian tradition and contemporary sensibility. The two met at the Nový Bor Glass School, where their passion for this ancient material was born. Since then, they have focused their work on product design with a special emphasis on glass, exploring its expressive potential through traditional artisanal techniques and formal experimentation.

DECHEM redefines the art of glassblowing by applying a narrative and sculptural approach to each piece. With a poetic and minimalist vision, the studio explores textures, colors, and transparencies that transform each lamp or decorative object into a sensorial experience. Their work combines Jakub's technical precision with Michaela's conceptual sensibility, resulting in coherent, delicate, and utterly contemporary collections.
