Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded their London studio in 1996, after training in architecture at the Royal College of Art. Since then, they have redefined contemporary British design with work that combines technical precision, artistic sensibility, and constant experimentation with materials and colors. Their creations, such as the iconic Tab lamp for Flos or the Loop Table for Cappellini, establish a fluid dialogue between function, context, and emotion, distinguished by their understated sophistication and formal clarity.

In addition to their industrial design work, the duo has developed ambitious architecture and interior design projects through Universal Design Studio. Regular collaborators with firms such as Vitra, B&B Italia, Axor, Mutina, and Knoll, Barber & Osgerby have a firm commitment to sustainability, championing aesthetic durability and the use of recycled materials.
