MK27 Studio, Mariana Ruzante and Marcio Kogan
Studio MK27, founded in São Paulo in the late 1970s by architect Marcio Kogan, is one of the most influential contemporary architecture studios in Brazil. With a team of 40 international architects and collaborators, the studio stands out for reinterpreting the principles of Brazilian modernism with a sophisticated, understated, and detail-oriented vision. Its projects are characterized by formal simplicity, the balanced use of fine materials, and an intimate connection with the natural and urban environment.
Under the direction of Kogan and her partners Diana Radomysler, Renata Furlanetto, Suzana Glogowski, and Mariana Simas, Studio MK27 has consolidated a practice that values collaboration and multidisciplinary development. They have won more than 250 national and international awards and represented Brazil at key events such as the Venice Biennale and the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka. Each project reflects an emotional and timeless architecture, where minimalist aesthetics become a poetic language of living.
