EWE Studio
Founded in Mexico City in 2017 by gallery owner Age Salajõe and designers Manuel Bañó and Héctor Esrawe, EWE Studio is a benchmark in contemporary design that seeks to preserve and reinterpret Mexican artisanal heritage. With a philosophy that honors tradition through ancestral techniques and natural materials, EWE creates limited-edition sculptural and functional pieces that fuse the primitive with the refined, appealing to the senses and collective memory.
Inspired by Mexico's rich history and culture, EWE straddles the boundaries of art, design, and craftsmanship, establishing a unique and timeless aesthetic language. Its works have been exhibited in renowned galleries such as Oliver Gustav (Denmark), Galerie Half and The Future Perfect (USA), Objective Gallery (China), Collectional Gallery (UAE), Kolkhoze (France), and MASA Galería (Mexico). EWE embodies a poetic and sophisticated vision of design, where each object is a celebration of local identity and expertise.
