Gino Carollo
Born in Vicenza, Gino Carollo began his career in industrial design in 1990 and quickly established himself as a key figure in contemporary furniture. His formal language combines elegance, innovation, and functionality, allowing him to collaborate as a designer and artistic director with leading Italian and international firms. He has participated in prestigious fairs and exhibitions such as the Salone del Mobile, the Cologne Fair, and MoMA in New York, receiving accolades such as the DuPont Prize, Young Design Milano, and the Interior Innovation Award. From the outset, his approach has successfully fused creativity with technical rationality.
In 1999, he founded Studio28, a creative laboratory where product engineering, prototyping, and architectural design intertwine to offer comprehensive solutions to leading brands. The studio, with a multidisciplinary team, has expanded its scope to include exhibition spaces, showrooms, and branding, establishing itself as a strategic ally for the design industry.
