Jean-Michel Wilmotte
Jean-Michel Wilmotte is one of the most versatile architects and designers on the international scene. Founder of the Paris studio Wilmotte & Associés in 1975, he has built a career that spans urban planning and architecture to industrial design, with an approach that values both the monumental and the everyday. His work combines a refined aesthetic with an extremely high level of technical detail, from a door handle to large-scale stadiums like the Allianz Riviera. This broad vision has led him to create a multidisciplinary and international team with offices in Paris, Nice, London, Venice, Dakar, and Seoul.
Passionate about contemporary art, Wilmotte finds inspiration in every museum, gallery, or fair he visits, integrating these influences into a coherent, rigorous, and sophisticated architectural practice. His studio, which brings together more than 250 collaborators of 27 nationalities, develops more than one hundred projects in parallel around the world, from luxury hotels and residences to public and cultural spaces. With each commission, Jean-Michel Wilmotte reinvents his design language, always remaining faithful to his commitment to elegance, functionality, and impeccable execution.
