Komplot Design
Komplot Design, founded in 1987 by Boris Berlin and Poul Christiansen in Copenhagen, is a multidisciplinary design studio with a strong international presence. Its approach combines the legacy of Scandinavian design with a constant openness to new technologies and cultural expressions, creating functional and poetic products that connect with different disciplines. Throughout its career, Komplot has worked on furniture, industrial, and graphic design projects, developing everything from office systems to iconic pieces like the world-renowned Gubi chair.
Their methodology thrives on contrast and collaboration: from the tension between art and engineering to the fusion of cultures, rationality, and intuition. This duality generates a design charged with emotional, cultural, and philosophical content, which goes beyond mere function. The complementary perspectives of its founders allow them to approach projects from distinct yet convergent perspectives, making Komplot Design a benchmark in the creation of objects with a contemporary soul and Nordic roots.
