Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba are an influential Italian architect and designer duo who have led their Milan-based practice since 1994. Their approach is based on the integration of architecture and design, constantly exploring the balance between aesthetics, functionality, and well-being. With a track record spanning nearly three decades, they have collaborated with the most prestigious international design brands such as Poltrona Frau, Foscarini, Kartell, Zucchetti, and Ideal Standard, for which they reinterpreted archetypes by designers such as Gio Ponti and Achille Castiglioni in the Atelier collection. Their innovative Lab 03 washbasin for Zucchetti.Kos, which incorporates a towel rail, earned them the prestigious ADI Compasso d'Oro in 2011.

In addition to their work as designers, they also develop architectural projects and artistic installations, highlighting works such as the renovation of Palazzo Daniele in Puglia and The House Boat villa in Gallipoli. Their work, which has received multiple awards such as the Red Dot Award and the Elle Decor International Design Award, reflects a holistic vision of design as a tool for improving everyday life. In 2007, the publishing house Hatje Cantz published a monograph that captures their vision of bathroom design as a lifestyle inspiration.
