Marc Merckx

Marc Merckx is a Belgian interior designer whose aesthetic is defined by warm minimalism, a perfect balance of proportions, noble materials, and the interaction with natural light. His meticulous approach to spatial planning and his collaboration with artisans from Europe and the United States allow his interiors to exude a restrained and sensorial luxury, where every detail has purpose and meaning.

Before founding his own studio in Antwerp, Merckx worked for fifteen years with Vincent Van Duysen, leading international residential and commercial projects. Today, he leads commissions around the world—from boutique hotels to private residences and commercial spaces—and fosters his own unique style with bespoke furniture and object collections, such as ICO and the Illum collection for Tribù, which reflect his sensibility for enduring and essential design.
