Marcel Wanders
Marcel Wanders is one of the most influential and renowned designers on the international scene. Born in the Netherlands, he rose to fame in 1996 with his iconic Knotted Chair for Droog Design, a piece that marked a turning point in the history of contemporary design. His creative approach combines artisanal techniques with a contemporary and human vision, giving rise to a bold, narrative, and deeply emotional style. In 1995, he founded his own studio in Amsterdam, and in 2001, he co-founded the firm Moooi, where he has developed a sophisticated, ironic, and exuberant aesthetic.
