Maria Bruun

Maria Bruun is a Danish designer known for her artistic and subjective approach to creating furniture and objects with a strong sculptural identity. Trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, her work straddles the boundaries of art and functionality, with a clear predilection for wood as an expressive and sensorial material. Her designs, featuring pure lines and carefully considered proportions, capture the essence of Scandinavian minimalism with a contemporary sensibility, providing a clear visual narrative and a powerful spatial presence.
