Nika Zupanc

Nika Zupanc is a renowned Slovenian designer who combines theatricality, poetry, and functionality in each of her creations. A graduate with honors from the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design, she opened her own studio in 2008 and rose to international fame with the Lolita lamp, designed for Moooi. Her deeply feminine aesthetic, laden with references to art, film, and literature, has seduced brands such as Qeeboo, Sé, Moroso, Natuzzi Italia, and Ghidini1961, among many others.

Her pieces, such as the Ribbon and Golden chairs, and lamps like Black Cherry and Crystal, stand out for their iconic character, oscillating between pop and romantic. Zupanc has created memorable installations, such as Gone with the Wind and I Will Buy Flowers Myself , and has been invited by brands such as Dior to reinterpret their visual identity.
