Studio deFORM
Studio deFORM, founded in 2011 by Jakub Pollág and Václav Mlynář, represents the freshest and most international pulse of contemporary Czech design. Born between London and Prague during their studies at the Royal College of Art and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, the studio cultivates a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses product, architecture, and visual communication. Its projects combine a refined aesthetic with a strategic capacity that has attracted global brands such as Nike, Heineken, and Dupont, consolidating its reputation as a restless and transversal creative firm.
A two-time winner of the Elle Decoration International Design Award, Studio deFORM also leads the creative direction of the prestigious artisanal glass lighting firm Bomma, where their vision transforms tradition into innovation. Through their sister company, MONUMENT Office, they explore new spatial narratives for stores and exhibitions. Their language is clean, versatile, and bold, capable of engaging with the industry without sacrificing visual emotion, positioning them as leaders for a new generation of European designers.
