Tarcisio Colzani
Tarcisio Colzani is a self-taught designer whose training as a carpenter and his time at the Brera Art School are reflected in a body of work deeply connected to matter and craftsmanship. From his beginnings in the technical office of a furniture company, he acquired a precise mastery of materials and production processes, cementing a career marked by authenticity, practical knowledge, and a refined aesthetic sensibility. His approach is always rooted in respect for wood, exploring its potential with restraint and balance.
Throughout his career, Colzani has worked independently with leading brands such as Besana, Confalonieri, and Seven, maintaining a particularly long and fruitful collaboration with Porada. His design combines artisanal tradition with contemporary proportions, resulting in pieces that stand out for their refined functionality, understated elegance, and perfect technical execution. A silent, essential, and honest language that is in the best traditions of Italian design.
