Alessio Minotti, a third-generation member of the Minotti family and Head of R&D at Minotti S.p.A., joined us at Villa Quantum for the presentation of the Minotti universe in a unique residential setting, furnished almost entirely with pieces from the brand.
Minotti and Gunni & Trentino have a long-standing relationship. From your perspective, what makes this collaboration so special?
I believe that the strength of our relationship with Terraza Balear, and now with Gunni & Trentino, lies in a shared vision rather than mere business collaboration. Over the years, we have built a relationship based on mutual trust, a common understanding of quality, and a genuine passion for contemporary design. What we value most is their ability to interpret Minotti's DNA and lifestyle with consistency and sensitivity, always respecting our values while also understanding the specific needs of each project and each client. This kind of synergy has grown over time thanks to continuous dialogue and shared experiences.
Over the years, Gunni & Trentino has represented Minotti in some of Spain’s most prominent residential projects. How important is it for Minotti to collaborate with partners capable of translating brand values into complete living experiences?
It is fundamental. At Minotti, over the years we have developed a precise stylistic vocabulary and a comprehensive vision of the home, where pieces are not conceived as isolated products, but as elements of a broader architectural vision.

What was your first impression when you arrived at Villa Quantum and saw the project in person?
What immediately impressed me was the fascinating balance between the architecture and the landscape, as well as its affinity with the values and aesthetic vision of our brand. Villa Quantum has a very distinctive architectural identity, capable of establishing a natural dialogue with its surroundings, the light, and the Mediterranean landscape. As I walked through the spaces, I had the feeling that every element had been meticulously studied, creating an atmosphere of calm, spaciousness, and continuity. It turned out to be the perfect setting for our indoor and outdoor furniture pieces, allowing each design to express its own identity while contributing to a cohesive vision of contemporary living. At the same time, the project naturally highlights the qualities that define Minotti: masterful craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, carefully selected materials, and manufacturing expertise that transforms design into lasting quality.
As a member of the Minotti family and someone closely tied to the brand's evolution, why do you think Villa Quantum fits so naturally with Minotti's aesthetic and design language?
At Minotti, we have always believed that elegance stems from proportion, balance, and sobriety rather than excess. Villa Quantum reflects these same principles. Its architecture is contemporary yet timeless; expressive without being attention-grabbing. This allows our collections to become part of the architecture, rather than merely occupying it. I believe this dialogue between architecture and interior design is what makes the project so authentic.
The villa has a very strong architectural character. How do you think Minotti furniture helps to balance, soften, or enhance this type of contemporary architecture?
Our collections are designed to establish a dialogue with the spaces they inhabit. Thanks to carefully studied proportions, refined materials, and a sense of visual balance, the furniture provides warmth and comfort without altering the architectural identity. In Villa Quantum, the furniture complements the architecture, helping to create welcoming spaces that convey a sense of life and evoke emotions.
Minotti doesn't just offer individual pieces; it focuses on creating complete environments. How important is this idea when furnishing a complete residential project like Villa Quantum?
It is probably one of the aspects that best defines our philosophy. Minotti has always approached design from an architectural perspective. Each collection is developed to interact with the others, allowing complete interior landscapes to emerge naturally. In a project like Villa Quantum, this is especially evident. The different spaces retain their own identity while forming part of a single coherent narrative. This sense of continuity creates an experience that goes far beyond the individual object.
During the presentation, Minotti unveiled a selection of pieces from the 2026 Collection. How do these new designs reflect the brand's current direction?
The 2026 Collection represents a natural evolution of our design language, reinforcing the dialogue between design, architecture, art, and the various creative inspirations that arise from collaborations with our international designers. It is a refined exploration that finds a precise balance between rigor and freedom, essentiality and layering, precision and character, while always remaining true to the values that define our brand. Villa Quantum provided the ideal setting to present this vision. In a context marked by clarity, balance, and a fluid relationship between interior and exterior, the new pieces were displayed in natural dialogue with the architecture and environment, while also reflecting an even deeper commitment to manufacturing excellence, technical know-how, material research, and the meticulous attention to detail that have always defined every Minotti creation. In this sense, Villa Quantum was not merely the setting for the presentation, but a tangible expression of the direction Minotti is taking today: creating sophisticated environments where architecture, landscape, and design coexist in perfect harmony.
Finally, after seeing Villa Quantum completed, what message do you think this project conveys about the future of luxury residential housing?
I believe Villa Quantum embodies a contemporary concept of elegance that increasingly focuses on quality of life. Nowadays, luxury is measured by the ability to create spaces that convey authenticity, timelessness, and a deep connection with the people who inhabit them. Architecture, interior design, and landscaping are no longer separate disciplines, but rather parts of the same experience. For Minotti, this project demonstrates how design can become the element that unites all these dimensions, creating homes that are not only beautiful, but also meaningful and lasting.
