ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Ghostshaper

Formafantasma is a studio founded in 2009 by designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, with offices in Milan and Rotterdam. Their approach challenges the conventions of traditional design, favoring a methodology based on research, sustainability, and dialogue with disciplines such as biology, history, and science. Beyond form, their work focuses on materials, processes, and the social and environmental impact of each creation. Their critical approach has redefined the boundaries of contemporary design.

The studio has collaborated with international brands such as Flos, Hermès, Bitossi, Cedit, and Fendi, and its works are part of the permanent collections of museums like MoMA, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Centre Pompidou.
