The Bolerotable, designed by Roberto Lazzeroniin 2013, is a dining piece with clean lines, balanced proportions, and subtle elegance. Its design is characterized by a light and architectural structure, made of solid wood, which supports a top with great visual presence. In the wooden versions, the surface is composed of large pieces arranged with horizontal and vertical grains, creating a refined effect of contrast and movement.
Bolero is a table designed for elegant interiors, spacious dining rooms, and projects where a prominent piece is sought without sacrificing formal lightness. Its language combines technical precision, natural warmth, and a careful selection of finishes.
Customization options
1. Available dimensions
The Bolero table is available in different formats to adapt to various project needs:
- 220 x 110 x 73.5 cm
- 250 x 100 x 73.5 cm
- Ø 150 x 73.5 cm
- Ø 180 x 74 cm
These measurements allow choosing between rectangular versions, more suitable for longitudinal dining rooms, and round versions, ideal for creating more fluid and balanced meeting areas.
2. Supporting structure
The table's structure is made of solid woodand features a characteristic triangular section profile, one of the distinctive features of the design. This solution provides visual lightness and a sculptural presence, while maintaining the stability of the piece.
The structure is available in the following finishes:
- Canaletto Walnut
- Wenge stained ash
- Moka stained ash
The moka stained ashfinish is only available in combination with the marble top and is not offered for the Ø 180 cmsize.
The anchor plates and spacers are made of black lacquered steel, while the lower terminals incorporate plastic material protections to preserve the floor.
3. Wood top
The wood top is available in:
- Canaletto Walnut
- Wenge stained ash
In these versions, the top features an inlay type elaboration, with crossed grains that alternate horizontal and vertical directions. This detail creates a rich and changing surface, where the natural pattern of the wood takes center stage.
The core of the top consists of a wood particle board veneered on the upper and lower faces. The perimeter edge is finished with a rounded solid wood piece, in the same finish chosen for the top and structure, ensuring visual continuity and a particularly careful finish.
4. Marble top
Bolero is also available with a marble top, an option that reinforces its elegant and sophisticated character. The available marbles are:
- Glossy Calacatta
- Semi-glossy Calacatta
- Glossy Arabescato Venato
- Semi-glossy Arabescato Venato
- Glossy Fior di Pesco
- Semi-glossy Fior di Pesco
The marble top is not available for the Ø 180 cmsize.
The edges of the marble top are rounded and the underside is reinforced with a technical mesh that improves resistance to bending, breakage, and impacts. Additionally, it incorporates a lower support in white lacquered laminated wood, which provides greater stability to the whole.
The glossy finish marbles receive a treatment with transparent polyester varnish, designed to increase surface resistance and help prevent liquid absorption. In the case of semi-glossy Calacatta and Arabescato Venato marbles, the surface is treated with a protective water-repellent solution that provides a more natural look. Semi-glossy Fior di Pesco marble, on the other hand, has a transparent polyester finish that provides a silky effect to the touch and improves surface protection.
5. Lazy Susan accessory
For the Ø 180 cmround version, Bolero can incorporate a rotating Lazy Susanaccessory. This element is composed of two circular surfaces of different diameters: the upper one is made of birch plywood with a solid wood edge, while the lower one is made of MDF with an anti-scratch black finish and protective felts.
A rotating aluminum mechanism with steel spheres is integrated between both pieces. The accessory rests on the table, without being fixed to the structure, which allows for practical and flexible use in large format dining rooms.
Additional features
Bolero stands out for its balance between visual lightness, constructive precision, and richness of finishes. The wooden versions offer a warm and graphic image thanks to the play of crossed grains, while the marble versions provide a more noble and sophisticated presence.
The combination of solid wood structure, customizable top, and technical reinforcement solutions makes Bolero a table especially suitable for high-level residential interiors, representative dining rooms, and contract projects seeking an elegant, functional, and durable piece.
