Ghostshaper

Formafantasma is the studio founded in 2009 by designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, with offices in Milan and Rotterdam. Their approach challenges traditional design conventions, embracing a methodology based on research, sustainability, and dialogue with disciplines such as biology, history, and science. Beyond form, their work focuses on materials, processes, and the social and environmental impact of each creation. Their critical approach has redefined the boundaries of contemporary design.

The studio has collaborated with international brands such as Flos, Hermès, Bitossi, Cedit, and Fendi, and its works are part of the permanent collections of museums such as MoMA, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Centre Pompidou. With projects such as the WireRing lamp and Clay ceramics, and offerings such as its low-energy website, Formafantasma represents a new generation of conscious design, where aesthetics are always linked to ethics.
