Artek: exclusive designer furniture

Artek is a well-known firm of Finnish origin, dedicated to the design of modern furniture, accessories and lighting. This house has been one of the great design references in 20th century Europe, founded by four great masters of the time: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Guillchsen Maire and Hahl Nils-Gustav.

As a result of this union, the company was created with the idea of ​​developing and producing the pieces created by Alvar Aaalto himself, although this initial project reached much more, with the introduction in the designs of two key concepts: art and technology.

Simplicity as the main ingredient

That is why Artek has managed to make its way internationally, with many of its products chosen in decoration projects, in museums and exhibitions, and in other public and private rooms.

Regarding its creative process, the firm remains faithful to the principles of clarity, functionality and simplicity, present in each of its collections. It also cares about the safety and quality of its materials, having won the first German award for Sustainable Design in 2021.
